Dr. Todd W. Austin of Virden recently attended a weekend seminar at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri on Advanced Clinical Nutrition. The seminar was presented by Dr. Rodger Murphree, DC, CNS. Dr. Murphree is the author of five health-related books. Murphree also writes for several leading health publications. Dr. Murphree was also the past clinical director of a large multi-disciplinary integrated medical practice where he worked side by side with a handful of medical physicians.
Dr. Murphree is recognized as a true pioneer in the growing field of orthomolecular medicine, a system where more emphasis is placed on vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, amino acids and herbs, than on the commonly prescribed pharmaceutical medicines.
This third seminar led to Dr. Austin receiving his ‘Advanced Clinical Nutrition’ certification from the Logan College of Chiropractic post-graduate department. This third nutrition seminar covered clinically proven nutritional options for the treatment of infectious diseases (including sinusitis, yeast overgrowth & chronic infections), urological diseases (such as urinary tract infections & benign prostatic hypertrophy) and neurological diseases (which included Bell’s palsy, migraines, tension headaches & Parkinson’s disease).
Dr. Murphree has had over a decade of excellent results treating many medical conditions with natural therapies. Austin has had many great results too, in the seven short months that he has been using Murphree’s protocols. Austin Family Chiropractic now stocks Dr. Murphree’s line of nutritional supplements, as well as his three best-selling books on “Heart Disease”, “Treating and Beating Fibromyalgia” and “Treating and Beating Anxiety & Depression”.
